Different Flower Meanings

So, you already know the meanings of the different colors for roses. Now, if you are thinking about giving flowers other than roses, you may be interested to know the meaning behind some of the more popular flowers. Lots of brides think about the meaning behind flowers when narrowing down their wedding choices. But it is also fun to think about when giving someone flowers. As mentioned earlier today, in Victorian times, flowers were used often to send messages to others. Sometimes the messages were sweet and heartfelt, but other times not so nice. As time went on, more and more flower definition dictionaries were published, sometimes with conflicting messages. In order to send the correct message to someone via flowers, the giver had to be sure the receiver had the same flower dictionary!
